Turnip Soup

First take a pack of pork chops and put in crock pot with a very small amount of water.. let get done and take OUT pork chops put into covered dish and put in fridge until later use for this dish..

KEEP the pork chop renderings in the crock pot you will build your soup upon this flavor.

 

1 EXTRA large Turnip cut off stem and roots,  peel  with potato peeler  and chunked or (3 medium turnips)

Peel some potatoes and chunk them up

dice up a onion

take some corn (optional) and add all this to the crock

Ok your gonna want to add some water to COVER the veggies totally.. and 1 chicken bullion cube

add a tab of butter and a can of cream of celery soup…

put on high with lid and let all the turnip and potatoes get totally fall apart tender

salt and pepper heavily

once veggies are tender take your pork chop meat from fridge and take out bones.. then put into soup

add one more can of cream of celery soup and 1 can of evaporated milk stir and turn OFF the crock.. it is ready to serve.. taste to make sure you seasoned enough.. with this dish you will use more salt and pepper than normal.
