SUPER CHEWY ALMOND-PEAR BREAKFAST TART

 

For Topping

about 2 cups canned pears in juice

Egg size of butter

let boil, use spoon to cut pears

add 1 cup granulated sugar

3 tbsp cornstarch with a tiny bit of water to mix it

turn down heat and stir to thickens

take off heat done. let sit till tart gets done then put over tart

TART

7 cups cornflakes

Crush in processor

Mix in egg size of melted butter

Blend in another egg size of butter whole

2 tbsp milk

Spray tart pan well bakers joy

press cereal in tart pan and then  sprinkle 2 tbsp self rising flour pat down

sprinkle brown sugar over top ..

add slivered almonds

pour some sweetened condensed milk over top  (NOT whole can) don’t measure sorry.,

put in oven 350 20-25 minutes

take out loosen edges with spoon

 

put wax paper over top and use plate to flip out and back super quickly onto your other plate waiting…

Spoon over Pear Filling

let sit a while before cutting

should be firm yet chewy … good for next mornings breakfast or with coffee
