My personal favorite dessert especially for the Holidays! 

Cherry Pretzel Dessert (can also be made with strawberry)

2 cups of crushed pretzels
3 tablespoons of Sugar
3/4 cup of melted butter
1 pkg of cream cheese (8oz)
1 cup of Sugar
1 container of cool whip (8oz)
1 package of cherry jello (6oz)
2 cups of boiling water
1 can of cherry pie filling

Mix pretzels, 3 tablespoons of sugar and melted butter, spread evenly over the bottom of a 9×13 baking dish. Bake at 400 for 7 minutes (very important not to over bake). Let cool for 1 hour.
Blend cream cheese, 1 cup of Sugar and cool whip, spread over cooled pretzel mixture.
Dissolve jello in the boiling water, let soft set and add the cherry pie filling. Spread over the cream cheese mixture and refrigerate.
