First clean your corn well pull of corn husk and clean out silk with a soft toothbrush or run your fingers down the rows as you rinse with water..

Then you just put you a pot of water on and bring to a boil  cut out any blemishes with a knife.

Drop the corn into pot filled with boiling salted water.

Cover the pot and let the water return to a boil again for about 5 -6 minutes  then turn off the heat and keep the pot covered.

Serve..You can keep the remaining corn warm in the water for another 10 minutes without its becoming tough, but corn will get tough it kept in too long or taken out too soon..

Serve with lots of sweet yummy butter and salt and sprinkled with a few parsley flakes
