PINWHEELS

Pinwheels are a very popular New Mexican appetizer. My husband and I are native to Oak Hill, WV; however, he is military and we are now stationed in Albuquerque, NM. So I thought I’d share this yummy snack I discovered here!

It’s very simple.

Take a large flour tortilla and spread cream cheese all over it evenly. Then spread hatch green chile on top of that. (I realize this is going to be hard to find in WV as it is abundant here, but they do make it canned so maybe in the mexican section of WalMart you might be able to find it.) Roll the tortilla up into a loaf. Slice into 1 inch sections and you’ve got yourself a yummy New Mexican snack.
