BORROWED TH IS RECIPE FROM THE WEB… looked like a keeper..

1 cup shortening
1 cup brown sugar
12 cup white sugar
1 tsp vanilla extract
3 eggs
2 cup all-purpose flour (purpose)
1 tsp baking soda
12 tsp salt
1 12 cup semisweet chocolate chips
16 oz cream cheese
14 cup white sugar
2 eggs
1 cup chopped pecans
Method
1 Preheat the oven to 350 degrees F (175 degrees C). Grease a 9×13 inch pan.
2 In a large bowl, cream together shortening, brown sugar, and 1/2 cup white sugar. Beat in the 3 eggs one at a time, then stir in the vanilla. Combine the flour, baking soda, and salt; blend into the sugar mixture. Stir in chocolate chips, and set aside.
3 In a separate bowl, mix together the cream cheese and 1/4 cup white sugar. Mix in the 2 remaining eggs.
4 Spread 1/2 of chocolate chip dough in bottom of the prepared pan. Pour cream cheese batter on top of dough. Sprinkle with pecans. Drop pieces of the remaining chocolate chip batter over filling. Don’t worry if there are gaps; the batter will spread.
5 Bake for 45 minutes in preheated oven, or until lightly browned on the top. Let the brownies cool in the pan before cutting into bars.

Took the recipe from the web and made my own version of the same recipe (didn’t use choc chips used choc bark  and melted for my topping) ... RECOMMENDED that you keep these cold right up till time to serve.. also put in FREEZER to firm up before cutting)

First I made my own brownies (recipe on site look up Serena’s Perfect brownies)

then I made my Cream Cheese filling to put on top of my brownie mixture

1 8 oz package of cream cheese at room temp

1/3 to 1/2 cup sugar… (calls for 1/3 cup but I always add a little more to this recipe)

1 cup sour cream

1/2 tsp vanilla

and BAKE for 30-35 minutes in 325 degree oven or till done..

Then Melt about 2 blocks of chocolate almond bark in microwave and use fork to sling over cheesecake

Put in freezer and let set up BEFORE cutting with pizza cutter.

BE SURE TO KEEP CHILLED IN FRIDGE UNTIL SERVING TIME.. not so good at room temp.. they start to droop
