2/3 cup light brown sugar

2 cups all purpose flour

2/3 cup margarine

1 8 oz package of cream cheese at room temp

1/4 to 1/2 cup sugar… (calls for 1/4 cup but I always add a little more to this recipe)

1 cup sour cream

1/2 tsp vanilla

1 egg

Combine brown sugar and flour in large bowl,

use hands to mix.

Cut in margarine until light and crumbly.

Press mixture into a 13×9 inch pan

put in oven at 350 to bake for 15 minutes… take out half way and sprinkle some granulated sugar over crust..

put back in to finish baking till set and light brown crust

Combine remaining ingredients and beat at medium speed till smooth.

Pour over baked crust as soon as done.

Bake at 350 for 20-25 minutes or until set.

(NOTE I baked mine for a while then took 1 block of  Milk Chocolate Bark and melted in microwave.. took fork and slung over top of cheesecake mixture randomly… put back in oven to finish baking)

Let COOL  (RECOMMENDED: these are to be bars anyway so I put on a cookie sheet the pan and into freezer for a little bit to firm up good before cutting with cookie cutter)

you don’t have to use the chocolate like I did… you  may decorate however you like.. pie filling, melted chocolate.. chocolate chips ect…..

NOTE: the COLDER the BETTER.. so please keep in fridge until right up to when your ready to serve them don’t let get to room temp..not as good
