Here is the recipe I found on the Internet for pumpkin butter, it said you can use pumpkin pie pumpkins to make it or use the canned pumpkin I just wrote the one using the canned pumkpkin..

1 15oz can pumkin

1/2 cup of sugar

1/2 cup of brown sugar

2tsp of pumpkin pie spice (or you can use 2tsp ground cinnamon)

1 tsp of cloves

1/2 tsp of allspice

the choice of which spice variety is up to you

then you can cook i t3 hours on high or 5 to 6 hours on low or overnight  in crock pot until it gets to your desired thickness.

then the instructions were to process it 45 min in a water bath.

I found several recipes just by looking up pumpkin butter recipes and crockpot pumpkin butter recipes i havent tried them yet either
