On a hot day here in manila, i thought of making one of my comfort food, oreo cheesecake
Not very presentable, oh well
It will be gone in a wink of an eye

 


OREO CHEESECAKE

Crust; 30 pairs oreo cookies crushed, remove cream in between. 1/3 c melted butter, 1tbsp sugar. Mix these and Take

1 and 1/4 c of this and press on pie plate. Chill. I used a 7 1/2 pan.
The remaining crushed cookies u wil use for the top. The vanilla cream jn between the oreo can be molded to balls and use as topping too.

Filling: 1 package cream cheese
Or 225 g. 1/4 c sugar. Blend. meanwhile dissolve 1 tbsp unflavored gelatin to 3 tbsp hot milk or u can microwav in seconds.
Add this to the cream cheese mixture while hot. Beat to blend
well.

In a separate bowl whip 1 cup cold or frozen heavy cream till stiff. Fold this into creamed cheese mixture. Put some broken oreo pcs into this mixture to have some crunchy pcs inside. Maybe 8 pcs . Pour creamed mixture to crumbed lined pan. Top with remaining crushed oreo. Add more if needed. Best served next day. If kids can wait
