Spicy Potato Soup

I am making Spicy Potato Soup for dinner tomorrow. Just to let everyone know that if you need or want to substitute anything from my recipe, please feel free to make it your own. Everything is prepped for tomorrow morning.

Ingredients:

1 lb of ground turkey or beef (I used hot Italian sausage for this recipe)

4 cups cubed peeled potatoes (1/2 inch cubes)

1 small onion, chopped

3 cans (8 ounces each) tomato sauce

4 cups of chicken broth

2 teaspoons of sea salt (or salt)

1 ½ teaspoons pepper

½ to 1 teaspoon hot pepper sauce (I did not add this in the recipe due to the hot Italian sausage)

2 tablespoon of olive oil

Directions:

In Ninja, set the stove top to high and add olive oil

Once Ninja is hot, brown the meat

Then add the onions, brown for 5 minutes more

Then add the potatoes, tomato sauce and chicken broth

Add salt (only add the pepper if you are using the ground turkey or beef)

Turn ninja off of the stove top and set it to the slow cooker setting low for 5 hrs.

Serve with French bread.
