Carmel Icing

 

1 c brown sugar firmly packed

2 tbsp butter

1/2 c white sugar

1/4 tsp salt

1/3 c milk

2 tbsp corn syrup

2 tbsp Crisco

1 tsp vanilla

Bring to rolling boil and boil for 1 min stir constantly. Add vanilla and beat till right thickness to spread it will turn a light color when ready to spread
