MY CHRISTMAS WISH
My Christmas Wish
not of presents untold..
my Christmas wish
can not be bought or sold
You see
Christmas to me..
has nothing to do
with gifts under a tree
Yes, Yes… I won’t deny
Giving is special indeed
Made even more so,
when given to one in need
But that is not
what I am here talking about
It’s far more important
what I want to shout
I want to tell the world
the true meaning for me
The reason for the season
Nothing about tinsel gifts or a tree
There was no sacrifice pure enough
to take our sins away
So see My Savior was born
in a manger one day
He was God manifest,
as a babe in the flesh
The son of God
The very best!
For me he came
to make a way for my escape
My sins he bore
for they were great
See I did not deserve
this gift he gave
Yet, he did it
so that I could be saved
My Christmas Wish
is that you all would grow
in the true meaning of CHRISTmas
as you SHARE with others in what you know.
