Pictured above is Chicken Gravy and Biscuits with my Fried Apples with Oatmeal and a side of fried bologna

This is my childhood favorite breakfast gravy, I make it as much as I can but my hubby’s favorite is brown gravy, which is good too, but I LOVE LOVE this gravy the best!

PS if you have leftovers DON’T throw them out.. I have another recipe you can use this with on this site.. just go to Leftovers  category and it is listed as ~Leftover Chicken Gravy turned into Crock Pot Chicken N Dumplins~

2 cans chicken broth

1 Can evaporated milk

1 stick butter

2-3-tbl cornstarch

Bring 1 or 2 cans of chicken broth and a stick of butter and one can of evaporated milk to boil. Have cornstarch ready.
Mix couple tablespoons of cornstarch with little bit of water well in a cup before pouring in pan Pour slowly only when it starts boiling ..can add more if needed (to thicken)

Boil (don’t let it run over) pour in .. then turn down heat as thickens.

STIR CONSTANTLY till done.

Great served with hot Biscuits corn beef or bacon and applesauce & fried eggs.
