CROCK POT PORK CHOPS N’ MARINARA  SAUCE

We all have those days where we are cleaning or what not and we want a nice supper but not enough time to do it all in. So this meal is perfect for those sort of days. I was able to clean and do my laundry and even take a nap afterwards while my dinner was cooking away in the crock pot. I did have a few simple steps to do, here is what I did…  =)

First I took some frozen solid, boneless pork chops of my freezer and plopped them into my crock pot.

Added a very  small amount of water to the bottom, put the crock on high and the lid on top and left them to do their magic.

When I returned later to find them very tender and smelling awesome..

Pour in 1 can of tomato Sauce,

and filled the can up halfway with water and added that to the pot.

Added one can of tomato paste,

filled it up with water once then filled it up half way and poured into the pot.

Next I added 1 cup of parmesan cheese.

2-3 cloves garlic, peeled and minced

A thick slice of my Vidalia Onion and chopped it up

Salt and Pepper

Basil, Parsley Flakes, Oregano

Stir a little.

Put lid on and let it continue to cook on high a bit.. then turned down to low.

When ready to serve just boil your Rigatoni Noodles on stove in salted boiling water, with a tbsp oil till Aldente

, drain and add your noodles to your Pork Chops and Sauce and turn OFF Crock pot as noodles would get soggy…

DONE. Enjoy with bread,  corn and Salad!!!
