Serena’s Pizza PetalsDelicious Pizza Puffs shaped into a delicate blooming rose

Fast,Easy, and  Fun.  A Beautiful appetizer to serve this spring and summer..

HOW TO MAKE THEM: Easy…

…first just take 4 cans of croissants biscuits.. I used the reduced fat ones..

and some mozarella cheese sticks

cut a chunk off and place on the wide part of your dough strip

and two slices of pepperoni with edges hanging over edge of dough

also add a dab of marinara sauce… I used a store bought Prego for these

roll it up carefully, trying to keep sauce IN..

tuck bottom end over and press

now take another strip of dough and place two more slices of pepperoni on the edge ,

place your rolled up piece on top and proceed to roll up again

at this point you can do one more layer for a fuller rose or you can stop for a tighter rose.. I did both…

when ready to stop you need to take the rose and set it up right or in the palm of your and and gently pull back or open a few spots of the rose…

set the rose in a sprayed Muffin pan

continue on until pan is full ,  no two flower is exact so do not fret if they do not all look alike.. it adds to the charm and whimsy

bake at 350 with timer set at 20 minutes then check to make sure they are done before taking out.. try hard not to over bake or under bake this appetizer

now just find a pretty dish to put them in.. I used a glass rose etched tart dish for mine

I took several pics for you cause like I said no two are alike

Serve with a dab of marinara to dip your petals in

enjoy
