RECIPE TAKEN FROM Lisa Heller I am adding a bit of brown sugar to mine and a pinch of butter, could add pecans too if desire..
I tried this and it is ok for a quick sweet snack when you need something, I tried it with both a hard apple (red delicious) and a green apple that was softer and I think the softer apple did better with this recipe.. was nicer to eat so make sure you find a soft apple if you do this recipe
.. I wasn’t crazy about it

1 tube Crescent rolls per 1 apple.. I am using two apples so I need two rolls of crescents

Slice and core your apples no need to peel unless you just want too
At this point Lisa’s recipe said to Sprinkle with cinnamon & sugar but I am going to spread with butter first, then I am going to sprinkle some chopped small pecans..
now add my cinnamon, white sugar, and brown sugar
add apple slice  and roll up  from fat end

place on sprayed cookie sheet
take 1 egg white, 1 tbsp sugar, and 1 tbsp milk and mix together for the egg wash
brush over top of the crescent rolls and bake 18 minutes or till done.. take out and let set till cooled enough for you to bite..caution cause the apple is very hot..
Bake for 11-13 minutes at 350 degrees.
