I keep a spray bottle of apple cider vinegar in my refrigerator in bottom rack and use it to spray my fruit and vegetables before rinsing. I read that vinegar kills 98 % of all bacteria, and of course it is bio degradable and edible. I also use white distilled vinegar – always wash veggies and fruits especially if they are not organic.
