Pepper Butter

40 hot peppers

6 c sugar

1 qt vinegar

1 qt yellow mustard

1 TBSP salt

Grind peppers and mix with rest of the ingredients. Boil 10-15 minutes. Mix 1 1/2 c flour and 1 1/2 c water and slowly add to the pepper mixture. Cook for another 5 min. stirring constantly. Pour into HOT jars and seal with HOT LIDS. Just turn the jars upside down.

I have made this a number of times.. and last time I made it was a few years ago, and I FOUND a few jars hiding, when I cleaned out my shelves to make way for new harvest.. and it is PERFECTLY good.
