Some changes but came out OK for an oldie. My Sponge Bob is a candle. The bottom layer is 12″ and the top is 8″. Should be plenty of cake. LOL – Nancy

  • Serena Adkins Ellison I am soooooooo loving this cake!!!! TELL US.. what icing recipe you used for the chocolate layer? Most chocolate icings are harder to pipe with I hear..
  • Kim Justice You did great!
  • Serena Adkins Ellison She did didn’t she.. she was really worried about making it cause she said she hadn’t done cake decorating in a long time.. I sure can’t tell that by looking at this cake..
  • Stephen Lilly My almost 3 yo loves this. He is going on and on about spongebob having pancakes
  • Nancy Wills Sturgill I really didn’t have a recipe for the frosting Serena. I made 2 big batches of a buttercream icing using a total of a pound of butter, 5 pounds of 10x sugar, didn’t measure the vanilla or milk and added a bit of salt to take a bit of the sweet out. For the chocolate top just added a little cocoa to help with the color too. I’m not good with measuring I just do it till it look right and taste is good. LOL Measuring cups and spoons are just something extra to clean. I am more or a Rachel Ray measurer. A palm full or a pinch. lol
