HOT HAM AND CHEESE ROLLS
Get you a great big mixing bowl (cafeteria size) in it put:
2 1/2 cups of good all purpose flour
about 1/2 cup of sugar
2 Tsp salt
2 Tbsp of Yeast  or  2 pkg’s of Rapid rise yeast like fleiscmann’s
in a SEPARATE bowl:
1 egg
1 stick of butter
2 cups of Hot Water (water should be hot but not overly  hot or will kill yeast, like baby bottle)
try to mix up best you can with a fork the hot water will melt the butter as you work at it with the fork…..
then take 3/4 of the liquid and start slowly adding to the flour mixture…. use a wooden spoon till gets to a loose ball…..
then at this point take about 2 cups of flour and start to knead into the ball you may have to add a little more until it is not so sticky……
make it smooth and pliable
spray a glass bowl with pam or oil it lightly with veg oil place in bowl and cover with damp towel and a couple more towels  put in a warm spot for 1 hour it will double in size…
I always freeze my leftover ham after making a big ham for a dinner.. and but them in freezer baggies and label them so when I need or want some ham.. all I got to do is go to the freezer.. this ham is delicious.. it was cooked with pineapple glaze so it is a little sweet.
I am just going to trim off any of the fat I got on the slices
.. and cut them into pieces small enough to stuff into my rolls.. also I want to add some cheddar cheese

pinch off some dough and take your ham and cheese  and put on the pinch of dough..

roll into balls..(about the size of a meatball) and put in greased or pam sprayed cake pan..
side by side leaving a bit of space.
cover and let raise an hour in warm spot..…
I have two towels over it.. the first is dry.. the second is a little damp to help the raising process
I make a butter to brush on top before they go in..
using parsley flakes, garlic powder, parmesan cheese, and real melted butter
brush on to the rolls and put into oven
then Bake  at 400 degrees for 15 minutes or so..

Brush with melted butter again when comes out

YOu now have wonderful HOT ham and CHEESE rolls

you can’t leave the steaming  hot rolls in the pan together long you should take out and separate some so they don’t steam one another and become soggy since they have cheese in the center they are easy to do so..

enjoy!
Serve with Marinara Sauce or Potato Soup
