RECIPE AND PHOTO SUBMITTED BY Rosetta Sperring

Here is another very easy recipe for “Hot Pepper Dip.” I was in a resturant in Intercourse, PA (and yes, that is the name of an Amish town in PA) and they served this delicious dip, so I asked if they gave out the recipe. The waitress giggled and said they get asked that all the time. She then told me it’s just an 8 ounce softened package of cream cheese and a small bottle of Red Pepper Jelly, that’s it! The recipe is so easy, it’s hard to call it a recipe. I have scoops in the picture, but I love the wide corn chips best…actually love both! lol I love the hot but sweet taste this recipe has, but you can add only 1/2 bottle of red pepper jelly if you prefer. Once mixed, you will have lumps in the cream cheese, but whisk it really good with a wire whisk and it will take the lumps away.
