RECIPE SUBMITTED BY Sherry Church Browning to TRIED AND TRUE RECIPES ON FACEBOOK
Tonight for dinner I was going to make salisbury steaks. I had everything mixed up when Cory decided he wanted a meatloaf. So we made salisbury meatloaf. Turned out real good.
It isn’t really a “recipe” per say. I just take 1 1/2 lb lean ground beef, an egg, 1 packet of onion soup mix, 1/2 can cream of mushroom soup and about 2/3 cup quick cooking oats. Mix this up.
Usually, I make form patties and put in a baking dish. Bake 350 degrees until they are done. (I usually don’t time it) when they are done I take 1 can cream of mushroom soup plus the 1/2 can and mix them with a little water to make a gravy. Pour over the cooked patties and return to oven til bubbling.
This time the only thing I did different was I formed into a meatloaf. Was really good and tasted the same as my Salisbury steaks.
