This has such a good taste and light, it hits the spot, lol

Pumpkin Pound Cake
2 1/2 c. Sugar
1c.oil
3eggs
3c All-purpose Flour (I used Self Rising)
2tea. Baking soda
1t. ground cinnamon
1t. ground Nutmeg
1/4tea, Cloves
1can (15ounce) solid-pack Pumpkin
Confectioners sugar

*In large bowl, combine sugar and oil until blended. Add eggs, one at a time, beating well after each. Combine flour and spices to egg mixture alternating with pumpkin, beating well after each addition.
*Transfer to a well greased 10 in fluted tube cake pan. Bake at 350 for 60-65 min.
or until a tooth pick inserted near the center comes out clean. Cool for 10-15 min. before inverting onto wire rack. Remove pan and cool completely. Dust with Confectioners’ sugar.

I don’t measure Grandma always “eyeballed” everything, lol
I also added Allspice to it. And I made a glaze of Confectioners sugar and tiny bit of milk to put on top and added nuts.
