Georgia Cornbread Cake
1 c. granulated sugar
1c. light brown sugar
1 1/2 c. self rising flour
4 eggs lightly beaten
2 c. finely chopped pecans
1 c. oil
1 t. vanilla
Combine dry ingredients, add pecans, Add eggs, oil and vanilla, mix well.
Pour into lightly greased 9×13 baking dish.
Bake in 350 d. oven for 30 min.
I made one with regular sugars and one with Spenda sugars. I needed, three so I made them all in a hurry, lol and made one without the flour!
It turned out more like a very thin pecan pie/candy and was very tasty- If I make this “mistake” again I will pour it into a pastry crust and have some pecan pie bars.
  • This is a quick easy recipe and every one who tried it liked it. No one could guess which one was made with the Splenda.
