DUTCH OVEN HONEY GARLIC BALSAMIC CHICKEN

When you have some in the family who don’t like veggies as much as the rest of the family what do you do? You get out TWO Dutch Ovens so you can appease everybody☺️

So I bought a family size tray of skinless boneless chicken thighs
If your doing just one pot you need half a tray of chicken

Next I put a little veg oil in my cast iron Dutch oven pots; add my chicken .
Salt and pepper well, add paprika, parsley flakes, and an egg size of butter.
Both pots I started on high heat, lightly browning the chicken, turning all pieces over and seasoning again same as the first side.

Two garlic cloves minced per pot
Also add 1/4 cup balsamic & basil vinaigrette to both pots
Add 1/3 cup zesty Italian dressing to both pots
Add baby red potato’s to each pot
Squeeze some pure honey over chicken in each pot

Preheat oven to 400 degrees

One pots ready for oven
I just have to add my veggies to the other
Large chunks of purple sweet onion
Large mushrooms
Healthy chunks of red and green bell pepper
Healthy slices of squash and zucchini
Handful of asparagus laid over top
Egg size of butter on top
I squirt a some Italian over top and 1 minced garlic over top my asparagus
Put lids on your Dutch ovens and put in the oven
Bake at 400 degrees for 25 min then turn down heat to 325 and bake 1 hour

At the end I take out my pots and I add a healthy amount of Parmesan cheese and a hand full of mozzarella to both pots

Put lids back on and finish off in oven
Your meals are smelling amazing and ready to go
