LOW-FAT SLOW COOKER CHICKEN NOODLE SOUP

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

Using my Instsnt Pot on Slow Cooker mode
I made a easy and yummy chicken noodle soup.

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

INGREDIENTS
I used some Tyson frozen skinless boneless chicken breasts – you will be shredding it a little later so you won’t need but about 3-4

1 large onion sliced
9 cups Water
2 stalks celery chopped
Baby carrots, frozen
1 can diced tomatoes
3 chicken bullion cubes
Pepper
Salt
1/4 tsp crushed red pepper
Parsley flakes
Place in crock pot or instant pot and let cook for 4 hours then take out chicken and shred some with forks

At this point taste broth make any seasoning adjustments needed while you boil your noodles separately on stove (note you can put in the snow cooker but it’s just faster to boil the noodles then add them)

Boil Some wide flat egg noodles
And some curly noodles and add to your soup

It is high in Sodium but low in fat compared to my Grandpas homemade Chicken Soup that is made with a whole Chicken, the broth from the fat of the chicken so delicious but not so healthy. This soups is a good alternative oncenin a while, and super easy.
