PATRICIA’S EASY PEPPERONI ROLLS

I made 2 dozen of Pepperoni Rolls yesterday. They freeze great so it’s nice to reach in the freezer for a quick snack and heated in the microwave.

I make them using frozen bread; it takes 2 loaves to make 12. Defrost and let it rise. Take 1 loaf at a time and cut into 6 pieces. Take one piece of the dough at a time and roll it out flat. (I roll mine out on wax paper sprayed with Pam). Place pepperoni (about 8-10) slices in the middle and 1 piece of cheese (I use Velvetta but you can use whatever kind you want just not too much). Pull bread up over the pepperoni and cheese and try to seal it the best you can. Place in 9×13 pan (spray pan with Pam first), bake at 350 degrees for about 20-30 minutes. NOTE: you do NOT need to let them raise again before baking! My son taught me how to make these!

  • Kandi Judy -Question when you defrost in the microwave what is the best method so they keep with the original pepperoni roll. Thanks.
  • Erica Sharee Wood Do you just fold them over once? My kids will love these

  • Patricia Stover I defrosted 2 loaves at a time for 2 minutes. I preheated the oven to 250 degrees and put a small pan of hot water on the bottom rack and then turned the oven off, put the loaves in the oven; they raised beautifully in 2 hrs. Erica , I just go around the pepperoni/cheese and stretch, trying to pinch the dough to keep the mixture from oozing out. A few will ooze but my son loves that part. LOL
