CREAM OF WHEAT CAKE  By Barbara Bennett

 

4 cups milk

2 cups sugar

1 cup cream of wheat

1 stick margarine

6 eggs

Combine milk, 1 cup sugar, butter, and 1 cup cream of wheat.

Cook over slow heat, stirring constantly till starts to thicken. Remove and cool to warm. Add remaining sugar and eggs tat have been well mixed together.

Mix well.

Pour into large baking dish and bake at 350 degrees. when golden brown sprinkle with cinnamon. Bake time – approx 1 hr 15 minutes. (keep checking)
